We are excited about our recent expansion, and we are dedicated to carrying out our mission to enhance students' knowledge of gender roles and relations across cultures and history. Did you know that the Women and Gender Studies Program at OU… …offers the only major in Women’s and Gender Studies among Oklahoma Universities …has tripled the number of majors since fall 2007 …is celebrating its 33rd anniversary this year … has over 50 affiliated faculty members from 20 different disciplines …is now offering a Graduate certificate…houses the Center for Social Justice …is a major particularly desired for medical school and law school applications …fosters service and community engagement |
