"I have always been interested in issues related to women"  "I found out that Oklahoma is the third worst state in America for women and I was shocked. This is where I raise my daughter. I want to do something about it. Knowing how gender plays a role in various situations gives me insight in my other classes. I can apply what I have learned and see the connections between WGS and the world as a whole. I have a daughter. She is my rights arm and I want to show her what a women can do no matter what the obstacles. I want to change the world, or at least my corner of it. I know that sounds cliche, but it's true. I would like to work on domestic violence, sexual assault, teenage issues, and or biased drug laws. Knowing that I belong here in WGS has been awesome. Doing stuff that I have never done before, academically, and doing them well has been a huge confidence builder."
