"I've always been interested in topics such as feminism, sociology and history. Primarily, I was going to get my bachelor's degree in International and Area Studies but after becoming more passionate about feminist ideals, I decided to pursue a dual degree in Women's and Gender Studies as well. It is very rewarding to be able to complement my classes with insights from each of the majors. My major in Women's and Gender Studies challenges me to see through many different perspectives. It is a gateway through which I can express many of my own beliefs."
