Graduation date: December 2016
Plans after Graduation:
MA in American Studies Freie Universität Berlin.
Why did you choose to major in WGS:
Spring 2014 I took a philosophy course titled 'Feminist Philosophy' taught by Dr. Emily McRae.
What do you like about majoring in WGS:
It's a small, personal program. Faculty have always been very supportive. Interdisciplinary approaches are cultivated and encouraged. The marriage of theoretical engagement and the facts of every day experience makes our work intellectually rick and politically pertinent.
Why is WGS important to you:
It has equipped me better to understand myself, my communities and to struggle towards a constant enrichment of both through critical thought.
